I suppose the restrictions on moving warships through the Central Nexus might not apply if you are fleeing from a battle? Would that let the Analytic and Humanity withdraw their ships from Molothos attack while Orphan and Arianne eliminated the fleet?

Also, rereading COTD (gotta do something while I wait for the next novel) and I wondered if you had ever considered using Tom Swift as one of the Hyperions. Personally was a huge fan of the Tom Swift Junior series when I was a teen, but only the first two novels of that series has entered public domain, although I believe all of the Tom Swift (Sr) novels have.

Still haven't gotten around to reading the series/author that Mentor and Duquesne come from yet...

Although from your previous comments, now I can't stop thinking how awesome a KP series reboot (soft or otherwise) would be.
